The Tracer 900GT is a premium specification Sport Touring model that comes fitted with quickly detachable 22-litre colour matched Genuine hard side cases as standard. So whenever you want to get up and go at a moment’s notice, the Tracer 900GT is ready.
Compact and lightweight 847cc 3-cylinder engine
At the heart of the Tracer 900GT is an 847cc 3-cylinder engine that generates deep, linear torque and strong high rpm power. Equipped with forged pistons and offset cylinders, this compact and lightweight engine is ready to bring the passion and emotion back to your two-wheeled riding experience.
Refined, high quality body design
The Tracer 900GT’s bodywork has been completely redesigned, giving this fully equipped Sport Tourer a more prestigious appearance. The latest GT model features a more refined, high quality body panel design with a new air intake area on the front cowl that enhances the overall looks and feel.
Enhanced ergonomics and wind protection
The GT version of Yamaha’s leading Sport Tourer gets a range of upgrades that are designed to ensure greater levels of long distance comfort. Narrower handlebars and a larger screen give improved wind protection, while the new seats, improved passenger footrests and grab bar design make long journeys even more enjoyable.
Advanced electronics with QSS as standard
The high-specification GT model comes with QSS for seamless upshifting, and for effective operation in different conditions, you can select any one of the three D-MODE running modes. The 3-mode Traction Control System (TCS) gives added confidence on slippery surfaces, while the ABS prevents accidental wheel lock up when braking.
Fully adjustable suspension
The high-specification forks come with a gold finish to underline the premium specification of the GT model, and feature separated damping functions – with compression damping in the right fork leg, and rebound damping in the left fork leg. For easy and convenient rear suspension set up there’s a remote preload adjuster for the rear shock.
Full colour TFT (Thin Film Transistor) instruments
To underline its position as our flagship Tracer model, the GT is equipped with a state of the art full colour TFT (Thin Film Transistor) instrument panel. The display includes a gear-position indicator, ambient temperature, coolant temperature, current riding mode, clock, a fuel gauge and fuel consumption indicator.
Longer CF die-cast swingarm
For an even more powerful feeling of drive force when accelerating, the Tracer 900GT is now equipped with a 60mm longer aluminium swingarm. As well as conveying an improved feeling of power, the extended swingarm gives a longer wheelbase for excellent high speed stability, as well as giving improved traction characteristics when exiting corners.
Lightweight CF die-cast aluminium frame
A key ingredient in the Tracer 900GT’s success is the use of a lightweight and compact aluminium frame whose excellent balance of rigidity contributes towards this Sport Tourer’s agile and responsive handling character. Solo or two-up, highway or back road, the Tracer is built to respond instantly and accurately to rider inputs.
Assist and Slipper (A&S) clutch
For smoother downshifting when entering a bend, the Tracer 900GT features an Assist and Slipper (A&S) clutch. By helping to eliminate any sudden shocks to the transmission caused by the downshifting process, the A&S clutch helps to maintain chassis stability and poise to give a higher level of controllability.
Sculpted 18-litre long range fuel tank
In order to give an estimated range in excess of 300km between refills, the Tracer 900GT is fitted with a large capacity 18-litre fuel tank. Featuring a narrow centre section and knee indents for added riding comfort, the tank’s sculpted design accentuates the modern and edgy image of this stylish and versatile Sport Tourer.
The Tracer 900GT has a comprehensive specification that includes a main stand, making it easier to attach and detach luggage because the bike is upright. When you’re covering long distances, the main stand also facilitates routine maintenance chores such as lubricating the chain, and checking or adjusting tyre pressures to suit different loads.
